Our love story began in PSF, a gathering of children of pastors, ministers, and workers in RCCG and other denominations. We were both workers in the group, but back then, we were just two people who knew each other by face. She knew me as the guy in the Hospitality Department, while I knew her as the lady in the Protocol Department. Nothing more, nothing less! 😂

Fast forward to 2023, when she accompanied a guest minister to the maiden edition of The Influencers Conference, a word and prayer conference organised by my church for youths and young adults. She came as the minister's personal assistant, and I was responsible for following up with the guest minister.

When I saw her, I mistook her for the person I had been communicating with. So, in a playful manner, I jokingly challenged her for all the stress I had supposedly gone through during the follow-up process. 😂 We greeted, exchanged numbers, and continued our lives from a distance.

Little did we know that God was setting something beautiful in motion!

By divine timing, we started talking more, and God helped us grow into what we have today. We prayed separately, confirmations began to come, and gradually, feelings developed.

Interestingly, it was confirmation before feelings! We had both reached a point where we were done with love and all its accessories. Neither of us was looking to embark on another emotional journey, but God had other plans. He had a way of making two people who weren't looking for love recognise His will for their lives.

In December 2025, I officially asked her to be my wife. Then, in May 2026, I sealed the question with a ring! 💍❤️

And now, we are preparing for the forever that begins on 22nd December 2026.

What started with a familiar face in PSF, a playful misunderstanding, and an exchanged phone number has become a testimony of God's faithfulness and divine orchestration.

Our story is proof that when God is writing your story, even the most ordinary encounters can become the beginning of something extraordinary.

From PSF to forever, from confirmation to commitment, and from two people who weren't looking for love to two hearts preparing for a lifetime together, we can only say:
